Attended as part of a large group, owners were laid back and friendly. I accidentally left a shirt behind and the owners arranged postage for it to be sent back at no cost apart from postage. Thanks for having us!

Booked this B & B on line and took a chance that it was going to be okay. Was greeted by a friendly and helpful gentleman. Our room was clean, fresh and very comfortable. The B & B is a little way from the town centre but it is a nice walk in to town. Bed was very comfortable and we had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and cooked to perfection. Would definitely return again. Very reasonable for the price.

At the beginning, I had to stay only one week in the B & B but I was so good there I stayed one month! The host Kate and James are so Welcoming and kind.They are a lovely couple. Bedrooms are so sweet, there is a good and peaceful atmosphere and the breakfast is amazing! Kate is a very good cooker. Thank you very much to them!

Booked this having read reviews. Exceeded our expectations! Great rooms. Simple with everything you need. James and Kat are brilliant hosts. Breakfast had all we wanted, freshly prepared and all with smile and great wit! Great value for money. The place to stay in Bournemouth

Having stayed in lots of b&b's around the Bournemouth area in the £65-70 category I was expecting a very basic stay at the Lea Hurst B & B with maybe an uncomfortable bed, a rubbish shower or a poor breakfast at the very least. Like the other reviews I have read none of that materialised and we had a great overnight stay. James and Kat are great hosts and made us very welcome, we watched a DVD in our room, cancelled our restaurant reservation and stayed in all night on a very comfortable bed, had a lovely hot shower in the morning and went down to a great, old fashioned dining room, where we were served a very enjoyable and comprehensive breakfast. Seriously you couldn't fault it and for value for money it beats all the other places hands down!

I knew even before we arrived that the Lea Hurst would be nice. I had received a positive reply to my email saying I had no idea when we would be arriving and once we did turn up the warm, friendly, Kat could not be more helpful.

The location is just outside of town but an easy 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and an important point for me who is used to warm weather rather than the freezing UK, the central heating made our pleasant room as warm as toast.

Kat helped me sort out the shower, (just a bit stiff - I didnt want to break someone else's property) but with a sharp push it was working and then lashings of hot water.

Food was good and another positive as I dont do mornings, breakfast was served until 10.00am

Excellent value, clean and comfortable room, lovely owner. No wonder it was fully booked, other B&Bs in Bournemouth will find it hard to beat the Lea Hurst.

Back in Bournemouth for a weekend break to find this B & B which we have used many times before gets better and better. Friendly and extremely helpful and considerate owners who cant do enough for you. A truly amazing breakfast with a huge variety of choice if you cant manage the full English which seemed very popular. Wi-fi worked well and really appreciated the selection of dvd's for use in our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and our bedroom like the rest of the B & B was spotless.

We noticed that our room which we had used before (room 6) had been completely re-decorated with new furnishings which had been very tastefully done.

The weather was great and so we really enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back in the summer.

The owners couldn't have been nicer. Very good value and less than 10 min walk to centre of Bournemouth. Warm welcome at arrival and excellent breakfast service. Full English, cereals and croissants. Room and bathroom spotless and comfortable. And free parking right outside.
